About Samuelson
Samuelson joined Chambers after having served pupillage with Mr David Boyton, Mr Andrew Raffell, Mr Hylas Chung and Mr Lincoln Cheung, and had two months of mini-pupillage with Ms Jacqueline H.Y. Lam immediately prior to the commencement of his pupillage.
Samuelson obtained his LLB from the University of Newcastle, UK with the support of the International LLB Scholarship awarded by the University. He was an active mooter and public speaker during his studies, being the finalist of internal mooting competitions and subsequently becoming the person-in-charge of organising the later editions of the same. He also participated in numerous nationwide Model United Nations (“MUN”) conferences and debates in the UK, and took a substantial part in organising and chairing the first nationwide MUN conference in North East England, TyneMUN, in 2017.
Before taking the PCLL programme, Samuelson has gained substantial experience in civil litigation as a seasoned paralegal of a law firm, where he was responsible for handling personal injuries, building management and general civil proceedings.
Samuelson is developing a mixed practice and accepts all areas of Chambers’ work. In addition to being fluent in both English and Cantonese, he is proficient in Mandarin Chinese and is able to accept instructions in any of the three languages.
